Arts Council might fund script writing – Saturna to reconnect with Gulf Islands
group which is still active on Pender, Mayne & Galiano.
Addressing
the problem of visibility of “The Arts” on Saturna:
•
Space at store/cafe for paintings, books, cards?
•
Saturna Lodge has wall space for art display, perhaps monthly rotation of
featured artist during high season and sample display for winter months?
•
Artist Co-op with demonstrations and sales at Saturna Point Store?
•
Artists to consider signing up as mentors for school?
•
Improve signage along roadside for Artists/Studios/Galleries?
