HOME CARE NURSING

Home Care Nursing is a service provided by VIHA to residents that require home medical supervision as indicated by your Doctor. The need could be due to aging, illness, disability or surgery. A Registered Nurse will make visits to your home on a regular basis, to follow up on such things as blood pressure check, certain types of injections, dressing changes, skin care, suture removal, post surgery, palliative care and other services as requested by a Doctor. She will also provide you with information regarding admission to hospital. A form is available from her/him for the individual to take to the hospital with them, which indicates what services are available on Saturna Island for post hospital care.

Please contact Lorna Archer-Quinn - 539 - 5435 for further information.
