Saturna has only a volunteer fire and medical emergency response team.

If using a cell phone to dial 911, state that you are calling from Saturna Island before giving your name and location.

This island has limited doctor and nurse on call hours.

A retired family physician who lives on-island is available part-time for some urgent and emergency problems, phone
